Walden, Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and upgraded my PC to V5R3 Client Access and installed the .NET under data. Have you used this for Visual Studio 2005, I'm not sure how to set up the >net provider for the iSeries though Bob Anderson -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Walden H. OTOH, Client Access has .NET drivers built into it. I've used them successfully from .NET many times. You don't get the pretty dialogs to help you build code, but then again, I've never liked IBM's generated code. Make sure .NET is selected in CA setup so they're on your machine and then add a reference to the "IBM DB2 UDB for iSeries .NET Provider" and code away. The classes are all w/in the IBM.Data.DB2.iSeries namespace. -Walden -- Walden H Leverich III Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x3051 WaldenL@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur.
