Deleting the device description will not get rid of the resource will
it?

I did not find in the manual a situation that matched what I am doing 
- I am not moving the card, just changing the device attached to it.

I'm not sure, but you may need to do this with the 820
down....and reattach the drive and power up.

What does the manual say ???
