Yes...but it will autoconfig if you do a "cold start" with the
new device installed.

(1) vary off and delete the 9335
(2) Power down the system
(3) Attach the new device
(4) Power up
(5) The new device should then be there.

The system has no way of knowing you have attached
different device unless it performs a hardware check.

Since the tape is not doing anything, the system doesn't
"see it"...(that's the theory).

In the case of twinax, it's polling the devices to see if they are
there and is it the same device it last saw. With the tapes, it
has no reason to poll the device.

OR

Follow the book on installing the card and attaching a device.
Just delete the old device prior to the "new" install.

I did not find in the manual a situation that matched what I am doing - I am not moving the card, just changing the device attached to it.
