It appears to work on *source* physical files, but not with
regular physical files.

The file=directory theory is interesting:

cd DSIPICKS.FILE
$
ls
DSIPICKS.MBR
$
tail DSIPICKS.MBR

tail: 001-0023 Error found opening file DSIPICKS.MBR. Operation not
supported.

Also got the same error for the grep command.

On the bright side, maybe it will work in V5R2 ;-)
