Ed,

We do something similar with pallet weighing equipment. We don't use CA
though, we just have an FTP script to pop the data onto the 400. You could
also have a VB program writing stuff to a data queue, if your data is small.

Subject: Client Access ODBC

Does anyone know how to eliminate the need to enter the password every time
an ODBC connection is started. We have a time and attendance job that
uploads punches to our AS/400 (V4R4) four times a day. We have to enter the
password each time the job runs. It seems that there should be an option to
enter this once and then let the job run on auto-pilot, but we haven't found
it. Maybe there's a patch? Any help is appreciated.
