Dan,
You can get all this information in the MTHACTX file. When you do month-end
processing this file gets cleared, it contains the invoice information for all
invoices from one OEI month-end to the next. If you need to process this data
after month-end for the prior month, you will need to copy this file prior to
the month-end process to a history file. We have been doing this for years and
have a file, MTHHSTX, that contains all the invoice summary records for the
current fiscal year. The program, AMBPW2, can be modified fairly easily to
copy this file just before the files are cleared. There are 3 other files in
this set, MTHACTV for bookings, MTHACTY for items, MTHACTZ for special charges.
We have MTHHST* files for all of these.

I have been tasked with creating a report that shows a summary of invoices
in a given month. I was given the Invoice Register report (AMV45) and asked
to give the totals for all invoices in a given month. Specifically, the
following amounts:
* INVOICE AMOUNT
* TRADE DISCOUNT
* SPECIAL CHARGE
* FREIGHT CHARGE
* TAX AMOUNT
* NET SALES
* INVOICE COUNT
I looked at the AMV45 source, and upon spotting ARTRNB, I saw "complexity".
So, before I dig in any deeper, I just wanted to know if there was already
something out there that will give me what I need, either in the form of a
data file or another report.
