I believe that it is the sum of these two fields.  You can check it by checking 
some copies of your current month invoices that have special charges against 
the data in the MTHACTX file.

frustration and wasted time!

So, now I see MTHACTX has three Special Charges fields (SPCG1, SPCG2, &
SPCG3).  I think I have identified SPCG1 as being our Freight Charges.  But
what about the line on the invoice register labelled "SPECIAL CHARGE"?  Is
that the sum of SPCG2 & SPCG3?  Or one or the other?
