While VIPA will keep the i connected to the LAN if an Ethernet card goes
out...(& I do recommend it)

It won't do anything for external users when a WAN link goes down; which is
the issue the Jim had.

System does have 2 ethernet ports. V7R1

This could be a manual turn off/on equipment or ??

They just had a 24 hr outage from existing provider.
