When people on this list use the term WebSphere, it is likely they mean WDSC. If this were another group, they'd mean WAS. It's as bad as those in my office who say a customer is using SQL - they mean M$ SQL Server, not the query language.

Maybe it's a good thing the IDE is not using the WebSphere moniker anymore - let's have some more name changes!!

:-)

But the OP has to let us know which he means.

Are you talking about WAS? I am not sure why you would want all that complexity when there are much simpler ways. Have you looked at CGIDEV2 or Icebreak for example?

Is there a good Tutorial that is current on Websphere?

In looking, I am finding pretty stale information, and it occurs to me
that probably those tutorials are no longer relevant or useful.

I am wanting to build an application that resides on the i, serves
dynamic web pages, and allows me to display the fields in a simple keyed
physical file, and an image (also stored on the i)

I would like to develop the application with Rational Developer for the i.

It occurs to me that I am probably making it all too complicated, and
that I might do well to stop, look, and listen.
