If I was IBM I would be pretty embarrassed at how much work it is to install
their flagship app server on an operating system they own. It would be
different if they could excuse themselves because they didn't control ALL
ends of the spectrum - but they do.

When installing WAS7.0 express I got a window with
Installation Results
Partial Success: The install of the following product was successful:
IBM WebSphere Application Server - Express

I checked out the log file at
/QIBM/ProdData/WebSphere/AppServer/V7/Express/logs/install/log.txt and
sent it to IBM.

Basically it's sort of normal and just suggesting that you put on a
service pack.

So, running 7.1 of i I put on the group ptf for WAS7 SF99363 and am
following the steps to upgrade that.

Just sort of an FYI.
