So if I install Zendcore 2.6.1 and the FastCGI PTF's you say it is not supported, or will not work?

I followed the following http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/resources/pase_fastcgi_php.pdf

And have a single php webserver instance up and running. I still playing with it, but it seems to work.

I also have the Easycom For PHP job running in the Zendcore subsystem.

Sorry, I wasn't clear.

Zend Server does not have a second Apache server and, therefore, does
not require proxy directives. Fast CGI is the only implementation of
PHP in Zend Server and we are see a good recovery in performance as a
result of eliminating the Apache server in PASE with some seeing as much
as 30% improvement. You can try the beta download for yourself at the
link below and install is side by side with Core/Platform. It installs
as a completely separate LP so there is no interference between the two
environments. Fast CGI is not supported with Zend Core a you need a new
binary running in PASE to execute the PHP code.

Mike
