You say time is money, but you use 64-bit Vista, which is generally
less compatible
with various hardware and software than the 32-bit edition without a
lot of upside.
Most modern hardware will support it just fine, the problem comes up
more when you want to use that old printer from 1998. I went 64bit when
I built my new machine a couple of months ago and don't regret it one
bit. Vista rocks when you have a machine that can handle it, and the
added memory space makes things hum. If I was to build/buy another PC it
would be 64-bit w/out a second thought.
Typically 64-bit software makes more sense on a server than on a
workstation.
Don't know about "more" sense. But yes, without a doubt, 64-bit in the
server space is the way to go. I'd argue that installing a 32-bit OS on
a server today is not only silly, but actually downright wrong.
