Agreed - I am certain it is a 64bit issue.

I have it installed on Vista also. I think the problem is more 64 bit
versus 32 bit. I've never tried on a 64 bit machine.

Right click on the SETUP.EXE program on the cd and change it's properties
to
run in Windows XP mode.
If you cannot change the properties of the .exe on the CD, create a
shortcut
to the .exe on your desktop and change the properties there to run in
Windows XP mode.
I've installed this on Vista many times.
Also be sure you have UAC turned off.

Hi Jon,
If you know to install WDSC 7.0 I am interested.
My system will not run the install program. I have tried many different
times and many different ways.
Lauchpad.exe runs and loads a window with an option to install WDSC. None
of
the options work, there is no response from the program.
I have not found any other install options on the CDs that install WDSC

WDSC V7 will not install on Windows Vista 64bit. I use WDSC 6.0.
It can and has been installed many times. If you use V6.0 I can
understand that you find it bulky and clunky - but WDSC 7.0 and RDi
7.1 are both much more agile and resilient to problems.
