Another question.
When you have your i5 working on the internet, do you want to gain access to
it from outside your office?
I ask this question, because this requirement can affect your choice of
router.
If the answer to the above question is 'Yes' then I would recommend a router
that allows you to set up VPN access to your network. These routers are more
expensive that the cheap routers, but in return they provide effective
firewalling, VPN tunnels, and user/password handling for remote access. I
use a DrayTek Vigor 2800 in my configuration.
Be careful with some routers because they do not allow VPN tunnel access to
your system.
