Got it to work by not using the Toolkit_Classes.php that came with the

Zend IDE. Haven't gotten it to work using the toolkit.

That sounds as if the version of the toolkit on the System i is out of date.
Have you used the Core console to check for updates and/or turned on auto
update?

P.S. By "Zend IDE" do you mean Zend Studio?
