Yeah, the Zend folks say there is a "native" way of doing it but don't know any
details.

I don't believe you can do ODBC actually _on_ the i5, and being that PHP
connects to DB2/i5 I would guess that there are "native drivers" you have
available to you through the Zend download. With that said I haven't
developed any PHP apps on the i5 yet so I can't tell you how to do it - but
I am sure you can outside of ODBC.
