Well some might... But for the record we've dropped Ajax (usually using http://prototype.conio.net/) into existing .NET apps w/out a problem. We've also done it to classic ASP apps. The problem isn't .NET (or Java, or PHP, or ...) it's the bloody framework that sits ontop and believes that it is all knowing and all seeing. I've got to agree w/Mike E's comment about frameworks, they're cool to start, but eventually you end up fighting them. -Walden
