Hey guys, this is somewhat of a rehash, but I'm hoping for a betterexplanation from those that have shed blood, sweat and tears over it.

I'm uploading a file via a PHP script and the file is created with norights beyond *RW for its owner QTMHHTP1. I need the file to have readpublic permissions so that the script doesn't suffer from the roachmotel syndrome of data getting in but not getting out. I'd rather nothave add code to chmod the files after they're uploaded.


What has worked for you when confronted with this problem?
