They shouldn't have to have the drive mapped as the file:// should support UNC names (that is, it will open file://server/share/doc.doc it doesn't have to be file://X:/doc.doc However, they'd still have to be intranet users (well, they could be internet, if you opened the firewall, but if you do that it's your problem) and if they hadn't authenticated (at the windows level) to the iSeries they would be prompted to do so on open. -Walden
