The differerence is that the AJAX request generates a "data" response, which is 
formatted in a rather rinky-dink way by the call to Insertion.after(), while a 
traditional response would be HTML, formatted by a process on the server.
 
Are you suggesting using JavaScript to generate an HTML table from the "data" 
response?
