What you tested against, what the application did, etc. I've done serious load testing on my eRPG SDK vs. CGIDEV2 and the performance increases the more operations performed (but maxes around 4x faster) For my test I did a simple output speed test (since DB access should be equal, and has nothing to do with the output speed of the product). They were equal to about 500 iterations, then the difference was dramatic. (time is in seconds) Iterations CGIDEV2 eRPG SDK 500 2 <1 1000 8 1 5000 20 5 10000 85 20 Basically what the program did was read in a template, loop through replacing a counter variable each time and display the results. This was on a slow 170... I ran several tests an the results were fairly equivalent.
