Giovanni is continuing the tutorials, and distribution of all the other utilities from his new site (www.easy400.net) but IBM have apparently refused to allow him to distribute CGIDEV2. Goodness knows why. The license statement on the web site clearly says you can distribute derivative works but ... they say no.
The site says that the CGIDEV2 toolkit isn't Open Source. (Which could mean a lot of things.) Do you know that it means that IBM is trying to get rid of it?
Maybe they've decided that they want to enhance it, and therefore want to keep it under their control?
Maybe they think it's too valuable to let Giovanni take control of it?
