Does your application have specific tie ins to the application server? For
the most part your application is probably just using standard J2EE feature
sets which would mean you should be able to just take the app from your 3.5
to 5.1 app server with littler problems (maybe just some server
configuration changes from 3.5 to 5.1).

I would just plop it onto the new app server and take the app for a test
ride.

Subject: [WEB400] 3.5 Application to 5.1

We have an Websphere Application that was created using version 3.5. Is
there a redbook or other articles that can help me in converting the
application from WAS 3.5 to 5.1.

Thanks
