Actually, the BPCS ECN file is the very file I am interested in maintaining.

We are working on improving the order fulfillment process, which is built on
BPCS. There are a couple of approval points which we currently do with paper.
I want to add web screens to allow the relevant users to approve (or not) and
add relevant notes. But the notes have to still work at the next step, which
is green screen BPCS.

I am thinking of using a text box, forcing the width to be 50, allowing the
users to word wrap themselves, and splitting the returned text field into 50
byte chunks for the ESN text field.

Should work, at least well enough to make the process changes.
