Be gentle with me.

How can I use relative links in a web site that has a mix of HTTP and HTTPS
(non-secure and secure) pages?
Apache 2.0.43 on iSeries (of course!) The flow runs from the non-secure
pages (general interest pages, about us, etc.) to secure pages (sign-in,
inquire about your account, pay your bill, etc.) and possibly back. I don't
want to hard-code the full URL but am at a loss for how to switch to the
https pages without doing so. Maybe I'm confused about what a virtual host
does?
