Sorry, i don't have a solution for your CLOB-problem, but if you're happy with a workaround: the flat file functions (DTWF_xxx) perform very well and are easy to use. I chose those for storing and reading HTML with more than 32KB. (The only thing that puzzled me a bit while testing it was that the filename has to be a variable, not a constant.
