You might want to look into the Apache HTTP server config to do this..... check
out this link http://httpd.apache.org/docs/urlmapping.html under the heading
"files outside the document root".... you'll most likely also have to modify
your httpd.conf file for the webserver to have JkMount lines for the directory
and its contents.

Without knowing alot about what you're doing that should at least point you in
the right directions.

I currently have an app running like so:

http://172.111.111.111:8010/taylor/servlet/CalcTax

but I would like to have the URL access be

http://172.111.111.111:8010/servlet/CalcTax

How do I change my <url-pattern> in <servlet-mapping> to do this?  Or do I
need to create a 'servlet' folder at the 'webapps' level and put my serlvet
in there?
