Peter,
I would then ask you if the file you have defined
for your convert to db (api QtmhCvtDb)
contains the field startatord.
It sounds as if it does not - check on that.

Mark.

Subject: [WEB400] Simple HTML program sending parms to an AS400 pgm

"The problem is that you don't have a name for the INPUT field.
As Mark suggested, you should name it something like NAME="ORDNBR", then
when you query the string you'll be able to locate it by that name.
Otherwise.... I'm not sure what will happen, probably something like
"fd003r?=12345" gets passed."

I change my code to be:

<html>
<body>
<FORM action="http://pacnet/cgi-rpg/fd003r"; method="post">
<P>
Order Number: <INPUT type="text" name="StartAtOrd"><BR>
<INPUT type="submit" value="Send">
<INPUT type="reset">
</P>
</FORM>
</body>
</html>

This StartAtOrd name is the same as the RPG program has. I am still with
the
report headings but no data. I am using the API QtmhGetEnv but the data
parameter is receiving NOTHING. I am running out of clues...
