  • Subject: Websphere VS RPG

OK Before I start,

my knowledge of RPG is good, and, of Websphere - non-existent.
I have read Brad's e-rpg book.

my question is a real 'Back to Basics' question.

What does Websphere do for me.??
Can I not develop the same type of applications using CGI-s and RPG.
without learning another language??
Then, I can utilize current skills sets etc.... <i am sure there have been
numerous discussions for & against this>

Please excuse the basic question,
but i have yet to read an article that does not assume that I know what
websphere does.

tks
kevin
