Hi Peter,
I had to recreate the plug-in, because I lost the source code. Don't
worry, it was not that hard, because I still had the jar and I was able to
decompile the code. But I refactored it (some color codes were missing)
and added lots of comments to explain it to you.
You find the project at
https://github.com/tools400/remove-color-codes.
Feel free to create the update site by yourself. I believe it may be
interesting for you to learn how to do it. It is not difficult, because
you mainly build the site and zip the folder. I assume that README is
clear enough. Contact me offline if you need help.
Regards,
Thomas.

Hi Thomas,
that sounds exactly like what I need: a tool to quickly remove the
color codes from the currently open source.
I'd be happy to give it a try.
Thanks!
Have a great weekend.
Peter

Hi Peter,

I do have a plug-in that can remove the color codes. I can share it
with
you. But I strongly recommend testing in a safe environment, because I
did
not use it for a long time. Maybe I can have a closer look at what it
does
the next days. It is my plug-in, but I do not remember the details.
The plug-in only removes the color codes of the source that is loaded
into
the editor. So no bash mode.
Thomas.
