Hi All,
I released iSphere 5.2.9.r, which fixes the compatibility issue between the iSphere Compare Filsters plug-in and RDi 9.8.
I also confirm, that using "http://master.dl.sourceforge.net/project/*" as the update site works for the following plug-ins:
* iRPGUnit
* iSphere
* JCRCMDS
* Rapid Fire
The update sites of these plug-ins would be:
http://master.dl.sourceforge.net/project/irpgunit/eclipse/rdi8.0/
http://master.dl.sourceforge.net/project/isphere/eclipse/rdi8.0/
http://master.dl.sourceforge.net/project/jcrcmds/eclipse/rdi8.0/
http://master.dl.sourceforge.net/project/rapid-fire/eclipse/rdi8.0/
But I noticed several read-timouts with that update sites so that it took me 1-3 attempts to get a plug-in installed. So it might be easier and less painful to use the zipped update sites instead. For example, you could download the update site zip file and extract it to a local folder or to a folder on a server and install the plug-in from that folder. This way you had a stable name for the update site that your colleagues could use, too.
Yes. It was great if I could use another update server for the plug-ins.
Regards,
Thomas

FWIW, I would suggest downloading the package (ZIP file) and installing locally. Simple, quick and has always worked for me.

Agreed... the two plugins I use (iSphere and JCR Commands) are a PITA now because the URL method doesn't work. If I have to install another plugin to use the Darkest Dark, I'll just pass.
I don't have the time to fool around like that.
I will say that v9.8 seems much faster than v9.6.

You think installing RDi is hard? Wait until you dive into plug-in's--it
makes every professional wrestling match combined look like Philadelphia's
Charity Ball.
I went to the Eclipse Marketplace and installed "Eclipse Enterprise and
Java Web Development Tools"; IIRC, that's a prerequisite for Darkest Dark.
The process was a huge PITA but worth it.

WRT RDi's font and colors: I can't give a loud enough shout-out to the free
"Darkest Dark" plug-in from DevStyle. The only change I made was to change
the "selected line" coloring to blue. Visual Studio and VSCode both use
black backgrounds and I think there are many usability reasons to pick this
instead of a white background. Font-wise, I use Andale Mono and/or Ubuntu
Mono in RDi *and* in iACS.

Having a hard time adjusting to v9.8 versus v9.6. I'm finding it much
more difficult to read. Everything has a "washed out" look.
I've been messing around trying to get the same font used as in v9.6 - I
think I'm using the default in the older version. Any idea if I can get
v9.8 to use the same font? If so, what value am I looking for?
The source code in 9.8 is larger, yet more difficult to read.
