Just confirming that the Edit/Browse toggle DOES work (for me) on RPGLE, RPG, CLLE, CLP, DDS source with RDi 9.6.0.12 under Windows.

Could there be a keyboard mapping which prevents CTRL+SHIFT+G?

To repeat my earlier post, the toggle can be activated in a number of ways:

- Within the edit panel, right-click: SOURCE > TOGGLE BROWSE/EDIT
- Keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+G)
- Along the very bottom of the perspective window is a Toolbar. There is a (double-click) toggle for REPLACE/INSERT. To the left of this is another (blank) toggle area which switches between [blank - edit]/BROWSE.

Do any of these work?

Brian.

Yes Buck, I'm working with RPGLE. But seems to me if Toggle is supposed to work, it should work on RPGLE, CLLE, CLP, DDS, and any source member, wouldn't you think?

And now, I notice it has a mention of the ctl-shift-G combination which
it says there should also serve to toggle edit-update. But that doesn't
work in my RDi. Is re-installing my only option? I just reinstalled
earlier this year (or late last year)
I'm having a memory tickle that this doesn't work for all of the editors.
Are you working with RPGLE?
