That’s certainly interesting, what was the name of the contained .zip? I wonder if ESS is packaging up things inside .zips now.

Actually I selected the Archive button. It wouldn’t accept the name of the zip file that was downloaded from ESS. There was another .zip file (the P2 file) contained in the downloaded .zip. That’s the only one that would work using the Archive button.

I had to manually extract the P2 file from the .zip that was downloaded from ESS. Then I was able to apply the activation kit to 9.8.

The 9.6 license is for 9.6. there is a 9.8 license for 9.8
