For 9.8 you just use the activation kit .zip file that you download from ESS or Passport directly (which ever your entitlement comes from). The activation kit does not get unpacked like was necessary for 9.6
The 9.6 license is for 9.6. there is a 9.8 license for 9.8

Thank you Mike and Troy, I have installed the RDI 9.8 back in May, but, cannot install the licence. The video is great, but, I can’t see the name of the licence file.
I picked up what I have been told is the licence, but, get the error that it is not found.
jar:file:/Z:/Software/ForClients/RDI9.6WebInstall/com.ibm.rational.developer.ibmi.rpgcobol.v96.pek.jar!/
Is it the same licence as 9.6? Where do I get the name of the licence?
