Re: RDi 9.8 Licensing

Hi Josée,

RDi 9.8 uses a new License Kit available from IBM. They are included in the Part Kit from IBM, as a separate jar file.

In the video, the license name is:
RDi_9.8_RPGCOBOLTools_AU_Lic_Act_Kit_P2.zip

The 9.6 license can only be installed in Installation Manager.

The 9.8 license can only be installed via P2 install new software.

Thank you Mike and Troy, I have installed the RDI 9.8 back in May, but, cannot install the licence. The video is great, but, I can't see the name of the licence file.

I picked up what I have been told is the licence, but, get the error that it is not found.
jar:file:/Z:/Software/ForClients/RDI9.6WebInstall/com.ibm.rational.developer.ibmi.rpgcobol.v96.pek.jar!/


Is it the same licence as 9.6? Where do I get the name of the licence?
