Allan,
Did you already told us what version of RDi you use? I could not find that information. I assume that you use 6.6 or higher so that validating the certificate chain should work. It does not work any longer for RDP 8.0.
When I create a new release I test the repository by updating iSphere via:
* Install New Software
* Eclipse Marketplace
I never use "Update Software".

I updated iSphere at around 4pm New York time on 4/23 with no issues.
In RDI I did an install software and pointed to the iSphere repository -
http://isphere.sourceforge.net/eclipse/rdi8.0/<http://isphere.sourceforge.net/eclipse/rdi8.0>
Downloaded and installed with no issue.
Note: I use the 'Install New Software' option instead of the 'Check for Updates' function.
This has always worked for me.
Paul

I have no idea why that happens. It might be a problem at SourceForge or a caching problem somewhere else.
BTW, when I mentioned earlier in this thread that I successfully installed iSphere 4.0.1, then I did that with RDi 9.6.
I cannot update RDP 8.0 for a long time, because of the following error:
Unable to read repository at
http://isphere.sourceforge.net/eclipse/rdi8.0/site.xml<http://isphere.sourceforge.net/eclipse/rdi8.0/site.xml>.
Unable to read repository at
http://isphere.sourceforge.net/eclipse/rdi8.0/site.xml<http://isphere.sourceforge.net/eclipse/rdi8.0/site.xml>.
Received fatal alert: protocol_version
I assume that SourceForge changed the TLS version to a newer version, that is not supported by the Java runtime included in RDP 8.0.
For RDi 9.6 users I suggest to close and restart RDi or wait for the next day.
