I am trying to install the iSphere plug-in (3.8.0.r) into my RDi (9.6.0.9) on my MAC (Catalina 10.15.7). I have been having a tough time trying to get RDi working again after I upgraded to 9.6.0.9. I had to completely remove RDi and Installation manager at one point – I found out that I needed to do a user install. I seem to have it working now, but that is all in the past. The problem now is that I can’t get iSphere to install.

My current messages are about dependencies not being met:

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: iSphere Job Log Explorer for RDi 8.0+ (optional) 3.8.0.r (biz.isphere.joblogexplorer.rse.feature.group 3.8.0.r)
Missing requirement: iSphere Job Log Explorer for RDi 8.0+ (optional) 3.8.0.r (biz.isphere.joblogexplorer.rse.feature.group 3.8.0.r) requires 'biz.isphere.core.feature.group [3.8.0.r]' but it could not be found

That in itself seems strange since it looks to be a part of iSphere….
The update site I am using is http://isphere.sourceforge.net/eclipse/rdi8.0/

I have also tried to install it from the Eclipse Marketplace, but I am getting a certificate error just getting to Marketplace:

com.ibm.jsse2.util.h: PKIX path building failed: com.ibm.security.cert.IBMCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

I have even manually added the root and intermediate certificates to the cacerts key file (in /Users/mwh001/IBM/SoftwareDeliveryPlatform/jdk/Contents/Home/jre/lib/security
), but get the same results. I have a ticket open with IBM and have been working with them for a while, but I thought I could ask here as well to see if anyone has suggestions.

Now even install new software to the sourceforge site is getting the certificate error… ☹
