Paul,

Darn! I wonder if you have an errors in the error log. We seems to be talking about the same thing. Which is good!

But, just wonder if you could get a moment to restart RDI, and try it again. Then refresh to see if the library-list works. That has been working for me since back on the old WDSC days. But, restarting RDI might clear out possible errors. Probably worth a try. On my laptop it take under 30-seconds to restart.

Here is a screen shot of how I set up my connection to my development box. Hope it might be helpful. And I see those libraries added in my "command log", aka the joblog view.

PS. You could open your error-log view, and see if you see anything abnormal. I am not expert at reading that.

Paul,

Sorry, I might have misunderstood.

On the job/connection, when I add libraries. I do a refresh on the "Library-List" view. And they always show up.

On my connection, I have added manual entries via entries and/or via a program. And that way when I start the connection. It sets my library-list properly.

So, the library-list filter I am talking about is the >Objects > Library-List and/or the newer view called "Library List". Which I love! Thanks IBM! I have it docked at all times.

So, what exactly is the library-list object filter you are talking about? Is it like one of the image below?

So, are we talking about the same thing. Just trying to help...

My 'Library List' Object Filter list does not reflect the Subsystem libraries defined on the connection.
