Dave,
Normally, most companies require use of a VPN for connecting from home,
for security reasons, so that should take care of any "firewall" issues, as
once connected via VPN, you are virtually "inside the corporate firewall."
And then, you should be able to connect WDSCi or RDi etc., normally, just
like when you are "on site."
