I know there is an RDi bug on Mac that causes high cpu/fan running constantly when there are two instances of RDi running. Part of that issue is two instances communicating over the same port. A workaround for that issue is to manually change the port RDi is running under. Possibly changing the port will work for the problem you are seeing as well.

If you want to try this, go to
Preferences > Remote Systems > Communications
and choose a different port than what is set there. For example, set 4350 (or something else) instead of 4300, and then restart RDi.

Backed up and tried every level - same result. No such file or directory.

Ah, in that case, you would need to run './javaw -version'.

MacOS is unix and unix won't find a command in the current directory
unless it's in the path.
