A snippet would work, and I have a ton of them for other things, but then you have to drag the snippet over to insert it into the code. Of course not the end of the world, I just wanted a key combination to do the same thing quickly. I tried using a template and it works, but using ctrl+space brings up a whole slew of stuff not just my custom template.

Does anyone have a user action or something setup where it will insert a

Will a snippet work?

When I'm coding python in Eclipse PyDev I can hit ctrl+4 and it will
give me a comment block to insert comments into. Just curious if anyone
had done the same thing in RDi.
I think that generally speaking, if one wants to write a user action
that manipulates the source member, one needs to write a plug-in. It's
not impossibly hard, but I found it a big step up from writing Rexx
macros in Code/400. The wiki has some links and samples of plug-in
development. Edmund has put some resources on the IBM web ecosystem

RDi home page: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/1105665
Search that page for 'Extend RDi' and I get:
