Which version is everyone on? There was a change to the behavior of ENTER at 9.6 or so - check into what that is and then get everyone on the latest release.

Joe Pluta published something on just this around May 2018 - so it's been almost a year since the change was made.

Arco,

Concur!

In Lpex sometimes <enter> splits a line, and sometimes it does not! Try explaining that to a new developer... <disappointment>

For instance, Enter to split a line does not work before ";" semi-colon. They have to do an ALT+S to split a line? And Enter does not line up by last paragraph? Really? So much for consistency on key-usage.

So, I have to explain, if <Enter> does not work, then try Alt+S to split. You should see the shock-faces? Why does it work? I always say ASK IBM... <Puzzled-Look>

I really disagree on that. Those 40% (is that the real figure?) that have not made the transition to RDi, will also not do that in the next ten years. Just because they can not (their company refuses) or they don't want to learn something new. Don't spend resources to them. Make RDi an editor that behaves like other well known editors do! So that new and young developers feel comfortable with it.
