Since we are talking SQL plug-ins for RDi, I'd like to add my two cents
worth.

I use DBeaver for both my stand-alone SQL software and there is also an RDi
plug-in for DBeaver. That way whether I launch a tab within RDi, or a run
my full screen SQL editor, it is the same one. Same functionality.

There is a free version and a pay version (one-time, lifetime fee, I
believe) and they update the software on a very regular basis. I attach to
DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server with it without any issues and it does offer
column listings on the DB2 tables, like and Oracle Developer does on Oracle
tables.

Just one more option out there that's a great (free) SQL package for use in
RDi.

I hate to ask..

What is SQL Workbench? Is that part of RDi?

I'm currently using Data Studio plugin for RDi, and I don't like it. I do
like Run SQL Scripts in IBM ACS.

I'll have to try that. But... SQL Workbench gives me content assist and
more.

As to the 100 column limitation - Personal preference - I would find 100
columns of SQL cumbersome to read/interpret. I'd rather have the statement
broken up into smaller chunks (width-wise).

Hi Ken,

Do you know the Poor Man's t SQL formatter plugin for Notepad++ ?
You can set the maximum width of the formatted code.
I do use it all day. Great tool.

Best regards,
-Arco
