Thanks Roger!
I happen to use SquirrelSQL.org with much success! And I can cut & paste sample data as an "INSERT" into my required Test-Case in SQLRPGLE code. But, still limited by Punch-Card column 100. Darn it! So, I have truncate it punch-card column 100.
Many sql client tools have that capability! Just a pain to format sql to fit into 100-column punch-cards for my QRPGLESRC source files. Bummer!

Try using something like SQL Workbench/J or copy/paste to/from an online SQL formatter. You can set your preferences for style.
I sue SQL Workbench/J all the time. I can output to text (various delimiters) or XLSX as needed.

OH yeah, since "currently" LPEX handles line splitting TERRIBLE for SQL Statements. Where I have to split the line with Alt+S, instead of the normal <Enter>. And then use the back-space key to line up the split the line to the starting column. Edit big/huge SQL statements in LPEX is a ROYAL PAIN is the A@@. :(
So, I instead edit with NotePad++, and then RDI tells me that my source needs to be refresh.
Gee, I did not think hitting <ENTER> to split a line and line up columns was "Rocket Science". But, that is CURRENT LIMITATION of LPEX. Oh well, NotePad++ to rescue! Again! <Joy Joy>

Yes. With Notepad++ You'll get a notification that the file changed and do you want to reload it.

How does that help? Does it do a refresh any time the underlying file changes? Surprising if it does.

If I open an IFS file in RDi, and the contents change, the only way I know of the refresh the editor is to close and reopen the file. Is there an easier way to do this?
TIA
