Re: RDi Open a unique member type as a 'DSPF' in screendesigner

I set the check box (in File Associations) to make unassociated files
prompt for an editor. I never get prompted, so this thing IS associated to
SOMEthing. I also noticed when I dblclick and open it in the mystery
editor, under the Source menu, I get an option for "DDS Help" -- so it
KNOWS, somewhere, a little bit, even if the mystery editor is not DDS aware.

Same here Paul. I found all the same spots you did (looking for dspf and
copying that). Seems like it oughtta work, it just doesn't.

For Content Type, under Text, There is 'IBM i Source File Member'.
Under here are ALL of the IBM i Source member types predefined. I

Designer (default)', Remote Systems LPEX Editor, and then Text Editor.
(This mimics *.dspf)

Also, under Content Types > Text > Enterprise Source Types > Display I
added *.gdspf to go along with *.dspf which was already there.

When i open a .gdspf member in RDi I get a text editor that is not DDS
aware.

Thanks for the suggestion, Mike. Just tried it. Unfortunately only
the Remote Systems LPEX Editor appears as a candidate to "Open With"
- but not Screen Designer. (RDi 9.6.0.4.)
