Re: RDi Open a unique member type as a 'DSPF' in screendesigner

I had given up on this path of trying to get a member type of GDSPF to
be editable in Screen Designer (both in RDi and SDA).

But I have done the following...

For Content Type, under Text, There is 'IBM i Source File Member'.
Under here are ALL of the IBM i Source member types predefined. I added
'*.gdspf' (in lower case; mimicking the way all the others are defined.)
Under File Associations, I have under *.gdspf > 'Screen Designer
(default)', Remote Systems LPEX Editor, and then Text Editor. (This
mimics *.dspf)

Also, under Content Types > Text > Enterprise Source Types > Display I
added *.gdspf to go along with *.dspf which was already there.

When i open a .gdspf member in RDi I get a text editor that is not DDS
aware.

Thanks for the suggestion, Mike. Just tried it. Unfortunately only the
Remote Systems LPEX Editor appears as a candidate to "Open With" - but
not Screen Designer. (RDi 9.6.0.4.)
