Sometimes your Properties view will be located OFF SCREEN. When you hit
Properties it is showing the view, but somewhere else. Happens to me
all
the time (with other views, I do not use the Properties view). I have
to
reset my perspective to get it back visible.

Resetting your perspective is "ok" if that is what you really
want. However, there are ways to move a window back into view without
that expedient. The "Windows" key (usually between the left Ctrl and Alt
keys) in combination with the left and right arrow keys will move the
window around that has the focus.. The Shift-"Windows" key in combination
with the left and right arrow keys will swap a window that has the focus
to the next (or only) monitor in your monitor list. To change the focus
to a window that you can't see you can use the Alt-Tab or Shift-Alt-Tab
combinations.

Sincerely,

Dave Clark
