Sometimes your Properties view will be located OFF SCREEN. When you hit Properties it is showing the view, but somewhere else. Happens to me all the time (with other views, I do not use the Properties view). I have to reset my perspective to get it back visible.

Oh, I selected the option to have the DDS Design view pop up
in the RSE perspective for DSPF and PRTF source types. I don't run
the DDS

Design perspective, itself. However, do you have the Properties
view loaded into the DDS Design perspective?


See Window / Preferences / Remote Systems / IBM i / DDS Design
/ Open the associated perspective when editor opens [X] Never
