For anyone that used the revert option below just in case you did not know this, 9.6.0.2 is still installed in your RDi product folders. The revert just made eclipse point to the older versions of plugins instead. So if you attempt to go back to 9.6.0.2 for some reason performing an install via installation manager will not work.
When the update to 9.6.0.2 comes out just revert back to this release then update from the released patch.

I missed this before (a co-worker pointed out to me) but if you go into the Help -> Installation Details -> Installation History (tab) you get a list of updates made to your RDI product. Click on the one before you upgraded to 9.6.0.2 and click on Revert.

I tried a rollback with the IBM Installation Manager, and it is NOT AVIALABLE. Sad!
I tried the web-install that I had downloaded earlier. And it right away grabbed the latest ERROR-prone/Memory-Leak-Disaster RDi 9.6.0.2. , a.k.a. Service-Pack-TWO with Memory-Leak. So I cancelled that installation.
I was force to install the old RDi 9.6.0.0 without any service pack at all. But, at least it does not lock up and gobbles up all my memory.

FWIW...
For the longest time, I have experienced slow performance which I attribute to a parser issue. At times the progress indicator would show "Parsing of live document 66%". It would just stop there.
I have to wonder if this is somehow related.
Can I trust the "Roll Back" option in Installation Manager to take me back to the previous version (9.06.01)??

I would have to say they did. We have five of us with this pack installed and only two (me and another) are the only ones that see this problem.

So I haven't read all these posts... but I have the option Ken mentioned "unchecked". Just encountered the problem after coding for about 20 minutes.
