Yes yes we drag the columns every time we start up RDi. It's been

several

years now -- I'm sort of used to it but I do curse under my breath every
time. I have also tried saving the perspective, but that seems to have

no

effect whatsoever.

Far as I have noticed, if I close RDi with the Object Table View

VISIBLE,

the column widths stick where I drag them usually. If I close RDi with

the

Object Table View MINIMIZED, the column widths are forgotten and next

time

I start RDi they will be 1 char wide.

I wish I understood more. It works for me, but not for you. I never close
RDi with the object table visible--at least not as a rule, yet it always
retains my column sizing. So trying to brainstorm why it doesn't work for
you . . .

-Under the drop down menu (triangle in upper-right corner--I forget the
official name), for 'Show columns' do you have Customized, Default, or All
selected? I have mine set to Customized.

-If 'Customized', what columns do you show? (I have File, Name, Type,
Attribute, Text, Last modified, Created, and Library. I honestly don't see
how the choice of columns should make any difference, but it can be an odd
beast.)
